Luton BBO (building better opportunities).  Working with ex-offenders across Bedford Borough, Central Beds and Luton Borough, we support them back into employment, education or training. 

 

It is funded by The National Lottery Community Fund and the European Social Fund.


2019 - 2020

This service is funded by Bedfordshire Police and Crime Commissioner

Delivering Mindset Empowerment workshops and 1 to 1 mentoring to residents of HMP Bedford and ex-offenders across Bedfordshire.

Working with students in years 8, 9 and 10. Improving their employability skills and raising aspirations. Workshops across Bedfordshire and Milton Keynes.

Working across Cambridgeshire with those aged 15-24 at risk of and/or NEET (not in employment, education or training).

Working across Northamptonshire with those aged 15-24 at risk of and/or NEET (not in employment, education or training).


2016 - 2017

Following on from our successful employment support programmes we are continuing to work with Luton Job Centre Plus. Helping those aged 18+ and long term unemployed back into employment.


March 2016

Working with offenders at high risk of re-offending and supporting changes in offender behaviour, removing barriers which influence offending.


2015 - present

BeNCH - Working with ex-offenders on probation aiming to reduce their offending behaviour.

Supporting students with emotional behavioural difficulties. Delivering NCFE Level 1 Award in Employability Skills, GB Boxing Awards and Mindset Empowerment workshops.

2015 - The Big Local Cauldwell & Kingsbrook Ward - Boxing pilot in schools supporting those at risk of exclusion.

 

2015 - 2016 - Panacea Trust Fund - Programme to support those with emotional and mental health and wellbeing issues.

 

2016 - 2017 - Luton Youth Fund - Funding to work with students in schools in Luton at risk of exclusion or lawlessness.


2014 - 2015
